Sole Lemon Water

Sole Recipe

Every morning the first thing I drink is my sole (pronounced so-lay) lemon water! I’ve had it both warm and room temperature, either is fine, but I don’t recommend using cold water. Overall, room temp and warm water are easier on the digestion system.

It’s important to use only high quality pink Himalayan salt. Table salt is heavily processed and filled with so many bleaching ingredients that it is stripped of any nutrients and only functions as an unhealthy source of sodium. Pink Himalayan salt provides a wealth of health benefits to include 84 trace minerals and elements found in our body. I love Redmond Real Salt as it doesn’t contain any contaminants, pollutants or artificial additives and is mined in the USA!

It’s imperative that our body is getting enough minerals and electrolytes, especially when sweating a lot (working out, sauna). I always will drink this homemade electrolyte drink after I have a detox bath, too!

Some benefits of drinking sole lemon water include:

✨Helps digestion

✨Aids in hydration, prevents muscle cramps

✨Natural energy boost

✨Flushes toxins

✨Provides essential vitamins and minerals

✨Improves sleep

Sole water is so simple to make and contains only 2 ingredients: Pink Himalayan Sea Salt and filtered water! Easy peasy.

I use a small 6 oz jar. Fill it with 6 ounces of filtered water and add 2 Tablespoons of high quality pink Himalayan sea salt. Shake well. You know it’s concentrated enough when there is salt remaining on the bottom.

Every morning I add 1 teaspoon of my sole and 1 Tablespoon of organic lemon juice to warm or room temperature water. Let me know if you try it!
